The 20 apartments in the Schellenberg residential park have a lot in common – and yet are as different as the characters of their future owners. They all share the ‘duplex’ (also known as ‘maisonette’) construction style, which in itself makes for a particularly exclusive living experience.
Another salient feature of all the apartments is the extremely well thought-through, space-creating floor plans, which make optimum use of the available space. Seating areas outside the garden apartments and roof terraces on the penthouse floors make breakfast outdoors an attractive proposition.
A total of 80 bicycle spaces also accommodate sporty families.
The intelligent energy concept – the four buildings of the Residential Park are certified to the Minergie standard – is as economical as it is future-oriented. Heat to the building is supplied by the district heating network and distributed in the apartments via underfloor heating. Each building has a central hot water storage tank in the basement. Ventilation units with heat recovery make for an excellent indoor climate: fresh air is supplied to the apartments via the living room and bedrooms, while stale air is extracted via bathroom and kitchen.
With an induction hob, convection extractor fan, oven/steamer combination, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, the kitchens are equipped to a good standard, likewise the sanitary facilities.
